I love your picture, its so atmospheric and sensitive.

Like the light and the atmosphere - lovely watercolour, Michael

Super Mike, you have such a light touch

A real rainy day captured- just like today!

Very atmospheric, Michael - you've really captured the rainy look.

Really captured a rainy day.

Definitely a wet soggy day Michael, and captured beautifully I might add. I would rather muck the cow sheds out than go shopping, rain or shine.....mines a hot chocolate and a pecan plait please Michael 😉

Thank you all for coming on my shopping trip and pleased you enjoyed it! Glad you found it atmospheric as that was what I was trying to achieve. Yes, think I’d rather muck the cow sheds out too. My grandad was a dairy farmer so the pungent smell is familiar!

I do like this Michael. Very effective. You have really captured the moment.

Great atmosphere and rainy day reflections Michael, really well painted.

Beautifully painted Michael, and very apt for the current weather we are having.

Just wonderful Michael. There is a great sense of a wet, cold wintry day and the figures and buildings are superbly painted.

WOW! Excellent painting Micheal you have caught the atmosphere just right, love the reflections. I am green with envy! 😉

Thank you all you later shoppers! I wish more of my efforts worked as well.

Thank you Romila & Dennis. Today has been like my painting - wet. I feel a need for some blue sky to lift the gloom!

There is only one thing worse than shopping and that is shopping in the rain! I know not everyone will agree, especially the ladies. Loosely based on a demo by Paul Weaver. Tried to create some aerial perspective by fading out the background. I know where I would be - in the coffee shop with a nice danish pastry!
