Not much wind on the Lake

Your reflections show the calmness of the lake Michael, with some gorgeous colours in the hills. The dark band of foreground makes the rest of the scene shine.

Thank you Fiona - a bit like the curate’s egg I think. This morning was foul - leaden skies and sheeting with rain so this was a bit of therapy. Didn’t quite come out as hoped. Interrupted by very wet grand-daughter Elin aged 10 plus two equally wet dogs who had come to say hello to grandad & grandma - nice surprise. Dogs did their best to shake muddy water over painting - which might have improved it! 😊

A beautiful watercolour Michael, do loose and fresh.

Lovely painting Michael, super colouring, the design is just like a place in Snowdonia above Trevor.

This is lovely Michael - great imagination!

Thank you for those encouraging words Carole David & Heather. This is one of those paintings where I have a nagging feeling that it is not quite right - suppose we all have days like that!
