This is lovely Michael. The composition is great and I like the way the creek draws us through to the church at the end - the use of blues is brilliant too.

Everything I like about watercolour painting. Simple, direct and confident. Nice work Michael.

I love this area of North Norfolk ... your painting certainly captures the feel of the place.

Like you Michael, I have seen many adaptations of this view and I have to say, yours is up there with the best! I love the mood set by your colour choices which are limited, gives the whole painting harmony. I would be happy to look at this for a very long time.

Love your watercolour style, Michael. This one is smashing.

This is particularly good Michael , I do like the colours you have used for it.

Great moody atmosphere and the river disappearing in the distance sums up a beautiful landscape Michael.

Really nicely done Michael, great color mixing on the mud flats leading back to the salt marshes ?, really like the sky nice wet into wet real sense of movement, nice one.

Heather Jim & John - thank you . Glad you like it. Had to do a big Norfolk sky and nearly ran out of space at the bottom! Thank you David. I really must make a visit. Fiona - thank you for your generous comment. I like the view too! Willie - I'm honoured to have a fan! Thank you. Thank you Paul - for some reason I always feel more comfortable with blues rather than greens. Carol & Malcolm - Pleased you approve. I enjoyed painting it.

Caught the eye - and opened memory's doors - used to go sailing on the Broads way back when. Strangely enough they seemed a lot bigger then than they do now or at least the last time I paid a visit there.

Hello Mike down in NZ. Thanks for taking a peep. Wish I’d visited Norfolk more but having lived almost all my life on the south coast that large obstruction called London always seemed to get in the way. The M25 was meant to solve the problem but that is often gridlocked. NZ has its attractions!😊

Lovely painting- the water just leads you through the scene.

Thank you Christine

I really like this one the colour choice and the way you are led into the painting, superb!

Thank you William. One that came off - quite a few don’t!

I've never been there but this view is often seen in paintings. Done from memory ..... I seem to have made the church into a cathedral but never mind! I do like creeks and harbours and old boats. 15x11 in. on Arches 300lb NOT paper
