As far as the eye can see

A lovely scene, well painted.

Yes. Michael, apart from the British weather. Love the way you have painted this, especially the sky, water and the figures on the beach. Lovely palette.

wow! so true - never too late to start painting - I can feel the fresh breeze!

A very fine watercolour Michael, encapsulates all the elements of this location....pure ozone.

The seated figure is particularly striking. I really like the colour of her dress. Lovely sea and sky.

Thank you all very much. Think it works although with limited palette I think I could have done with a little more colour variation in the sky. Ah.... the British weather Carole! Can’t complain today - sunshine and passably warm. Eleanor - yes it’s never too late but how I wish I had started painting in my youth ( whenever that was!) Pleased you approve David & Paul. Fiona - can’t beat a bit of pure ozone and being far from the madding crowd! Chrissie - my expertise does not extend to ladies’ dresses so I’m relieved this one passes muster!

Great atmosphere and composition, with super manipulation of the washes. Beautifully painted, Michael.

Thank you Seok 😊

Seascape using limited palette. A quiet beach where one can sit and ponder is a nice place to be.
