A quick impression of Catalonia (Watercolour)

You get some lovely vibrant colours with your watercolours, Michael. That water and the reflections are beautiful.

Lovely fresh and spontaneous piece Michael.

I have my sunglasses on and sun cream rubbed in Michael, I can feel the warmth coming through the iPad screen! Fabulous reflections, a beautiful sun drenched painting.

Thank you Marjorie, Alan & Fiona 👙😎. You are all very quick off the mark! Lake Como was fully booked Fiona.

Lovely water and reflections.

Lovely use of colour here Michael.

Thank you Sarah & Stephen. The reflections applied almost dry with neat paint. Tricky knowing how damp the blue water should be when starting reflections ...... think I got lucky!

Good one Michael, really like the reflections

Beautiful colours - this is lovely.

Hello Heather - pleased you approve. Sometimes the quick almost slapdash ones work better than those we spend hours on. And thank you Margaret - just seen your comment.

Great Mediterranean feel to this lovely painting Michael.

Shall we do Lake Como next week then Michael? Sure they could fit us in somewhere.....lol.

I haven’t had an offer like that in years Fiona. Bring the 👙........ lol.

And thank you Dennis Carole & Paul. Sorry, nearly missed you out .... Fiona’s fault ... she distracted me!

This has such a sense of warmth and I love the beautiful reflection work .Great use of softer lines for the perspective.

Thanks Diana - could be a travel brochure view ........ the skies are always blue!

Hang on Studio Wall

Thought it was about time to paint something warmer. Struggling with blurred right eye so difficult to concentrate for long - so painted at some speed!
