This is a composite (very approximately) of two London sketches) by Geoff Hunt (PPRSMA) that I saw in 'The Artist' a year or so ago. Like many of you I expect, I thoroughly enjoyed his articles on watercolour painting. He is a marvellous artist. I hope he will not mind my 'pinching' his sketches and having a go. As an experiment I did no preliminary drawing at all but, with the illustrations in front of me, 'drew' the scene with my fairlt large squirrel brush with a fine point. In case there is any doubt (and there should be!) it IS a lion on the plinth!
