Linda, Seok and Derek - thank you very much. Must be getting lazy in my old age but painted this with one fairly large squirrel mop ( except for a few squiggles on the big tree). As it has a fine point on it I could even do the window panes. Not sure this is the best way to do it (I've seen tutorials with artists using any number of brushes) but it sure makes life easier!

Hang on Studio Wall

Painted today after a visit last Saturday. The house is now owned by the National Trust. Built between 1663 and 1665, it was the family home of the Bankes family who had previously lived in Corfe Castle until its destruction in the English Civil War.
