Lovely line and wash Michael, a little 'wonkyness' is acceptable in old buildings I think.

Looks a difficult perspective well done Michael.

This painting has strong impact - lovely building, Michael

Thanks very much Dennis, Stephen, Carole & Pat.

Very strong, impactful composition, Michael - very nicely done!

I have enjoyed doing a few pen & wash paintings recently. Here's another one of Kingston Lacy - a National Trust property in Dorset. It was originally built in the late 17th Cent, for the Bankes family who had previously lived at Corfe Castle until its destruction in the English Civil War. I see that I have a rather 'wonky' left chimney stack out of vertical - my errant pen I think rather than reality! This sketch is 14x10 in. on Arches Rough.
