This is a beauty Michael great work on the wetness and great balance in the other features

Great perspective, good wet street effects, Michael. I also like the shots of colour in the windows

Capturing bad moments like this produces smashing records for the future and much betterthan a picture.

Lovely work Michael, I remember the news stories on the TV about this. Great light captured in the water and and I'm really enjoying the glow in the shop windows.

A lovely watercolour, with great colours to express such a dark wet day. The perspective down the narrow street, and the shop fronts are brilliantly done.

Thank you very much Dennis, Pat, Derek, Roland & Ann. This was quite fun to paint although, by the time I got to the water and reflections, I quite thought I might ruin the whole thing! Luckily, I think they just about work and that I stopped while I was winning!

colours, perspective and story all beautifully painted. I really like it.

Love the reflection on the wet street

Excellent Michael , the handling of the water is superb

Thank you Andre, Vyora & Dermot. Fun to paint but I hope not a precursor of this coming winter.......

Beautifully captured Michael...love the reflections and great feel of movement in water cascading down the street.

Great light and reflections Michael!

Chandra & Fiona - thank you both for the compliments. I almost considered painting the reflections and water first - which would have been rather unconventional - because I thought that if I really messed them up I could abort there and then and not waste time painting the remainder!
