Boiling seas at Botallack

Boiling seas at Botallack

Dramatic and full of atmosphere. Beautifully painted.

Beautiful painting Michael don't think I will have a paddle

Wonderful full of movement

Love the looseness of this Michael, the colours are so effective, the energy you have captured in that sea is fantastic, a really great painting.

Those blues and is it burnt sienna - well they bring it together and make it for me

Full of energy and atmosphere Michael, you've captured the froth of the surf beautifully.

Thank you all very much. Michael - the cliffs....I think I "threw the kitchen sink" at these - from memory raw sienna, burnt sienna, burnt umber, a smidgeon of cadmium red, cobalt blue, ultramarine, cerulean blue and a green that I can't tell you because the label has rubbed off the tube!

Beautiful colours, great sea, Michael

Pleased you like it Jennifer

Hang on Studio Wall

A stormy day on the Cornish Peninsula. Here we see the derelict Crowns Mine engine houses and the cliffs pounded by the waves on this wild Atlantic coast. 14x10 in. on Arches Rough.
