Looking down Manchester Road.

Looking down Manchester Road.

Lovely Michael - feels like lots of sunlight with the sky and the shadow. Nice and loose and a good composition.

Smashing Michael, immediate, fresh and well onbserved.

Looser than your usual work Michael, no doubt due to your working on site, has come off very well.

This is stunning Michael

Great control of the medium and delightfully loose - a cracking watercolour. I think we are from the same camp - this is right up my street (if you'll excuse the pun).

A really smashing watercolour Michael, love the bright sunny feeling.

Dympna, Derek, Stephen, Dennis & Michael - you are all very kind. Thank you........and yes, Michael, I think we are from the same camp - even to the liking of dreadful puns!

And thank you, too, Fiona.

Lovely watercolour painting

Pleased you like it, Helen. Thank you. A bit "rough around the edges" and painted quickly - but often it works better that way.

Hang on Studio Wall

I stood outside my front garden hedge on the right yesterday and sketched this before painting it later in the evening. Not perhaps the prettiest of views but obviously means something to me. 14x10 in. on Arches Rough
