This is great Michael & the little boat is perfectly placed. I love tonal work like this with a limited colour scheme.The paper you've used works very well with the subject-I would guess it's a fairly heavyweight with a rough surface.

Meant to add, Gina, in answer to your query, that I used Arches Aqua Rough 140 lb paper.

Hang on Studio Wall

A lonely place and the most westerly point of the British mainland. This is a "quickie" painted in about an hour and 20 minutes this afternoon while my wife was gardening. Couldn't take longer as assistance required!
