Mist over the Common

Join the club in our history Michael and this is very competent.

You have conveyed the background mist very well Michael, contrasts well with the strong foreground colours.

Thank you Derek, Stephen & Dympna. On reflection, I think my foreground is a little heavy handed. Apart from the tree trunks, I painted the whole thing with a large squirrel mop which made it a lot easier to paint at speed, wet in wet, mixing colours as I went along. However, perhaps I would have been wise to use a finer brush close up to show some individual grasses, stalks etc.
