Very good watercolour Michael, the perspective seems sound and the White cottages are very well described. The two distant figures, although small do draw the eye along the street, well done.

Thank you all for you kind comments. I took a little longer than usual on this one. Its a fine line between keeping it reasonably free and fiddling about too long and usually getting a 'stiff' result.

Hello and happy Easter. I saw a photo recently of Church Street Sandwich which took my eye with the bright sunlight from behind and the old houses with their white walls and timber beams.Here's my interpretation of it. BTW, that's a tabby cat sunning itself on the pavement bottom right....just in case it isn't perfectly obvious!! 14x10 in. on Arches Rough.
