Really beautiful work and the light in the painting is superb.

Thanks Thea. It may be some time before I attempt another flower painting. It was fun but hard work! I'm happier painting landscapes.

I had to peek to see if you had gone digital like Kal!!!! Thank goodness you haven't.

No chance, Jennifer! All done with a brush and some tubes of Winsor & Newton. I have enough trouble with technology already.

A rare excursion into flower painting. This azalea has been so lovely that I felt compelled to try to paint it. Standing on a low table in the glazed end of the dining room catching the afternoon winter sun.
