Hang on Studio Wall

I thought I would paint one or two scenes in my home village of Sway in the New Forest. Here's the first - the local pub. I painted this quickly a couple of days ago so it is a bit rough around the edges but I didn't want it to get 'stiff' and too laboured. The pub has an unusual front elevation - not straight but slightly angled. Why has always intrigued me. The pub is on the route of the New Forest Marathon (at about the 20 mile mark) so I imagine some of the back markers stop for a welcome pint! Painting is 14x10 in, on Arches Rough
