Not bad at all Michael, they are dodgy to get right and you nailed it.

The risk of painting animals paid off Michael.......lovely feeling of distance and space.

Thank you Dennis, Derek and Fiona. That's my quota of animals for a while. They are not relaxing to paint!

Hang on Studio Wall

An imaginary scene - two riders pause to admire the view from a grassy knoll overlooking the New Forest on a hazy morning. I don't risk painting animals often - "horses for courses" as the saying goes - but I hope these just about pass muster.
