Very nice indeed Michael , lovely handling of the sea

And got away with it nicely Michael, just spot-on.

Michael, I agree with Alan very much.... The sea is great, the whole painting is very well balanced.

A fresh, crisp painting Michael ....love the white sea spray...beautifully rendered water.

Thank you all - not quite as I had hoped ......but are they ever?

Very nicely handled Michael, perhaps making the headland a little stronger than usual has resulted in a more powerful work. I like the way you have handled the turbulent sea.

Have just come across your recent additions - all superb! Love this composition; the tones work so well and the water has great movement. The colour changes of the soft greens in the middle distance to the darker, interesting and rough foreground give great depth to the painting. Yes, a holiday in Guernsey, painting with me, next year is called for - I can find umpteen sites around our shores which should keep you motivated! Tony Taylor<br />

Thanks Tony. Presently in Australia for holiday and family wedding. Keen to try my hand at some Australian bush scenes when I return.

I love the Irish coast and the Emerald Isle, it is so full of invigorating scenes like these, well captured!

Excellent work Michael your watercolours are so pure and beutifully rendered, so hard to gert it right, something you have achieved with such style. well done keep up the good work!

Hang on Studio Wall

Saw a photo of this beautiful coast in a magazine. Made the headland darker than intended which forced me to make the foreground darker than I wanted. However, perhaps I just got away with it.
