Boat on the beach

Boat on the beach

Beautiful painting Mia, lovely composition and very well painted as always

Lovely work Mia, very simple background in contrast with the more detailed boat, which is well positioned to the left of centre to balance the simple landscape on the right.

So simple, so effective - great as always Mia

Beautifully composed, with the air of tranquility which I assosiate with your work.

Beautiful in its simplicity Mia - a great addition to your portfolia

Lovely painting Mia, such a simple composition but so very effective, like this one a lot .

I appreciate your comments very, very much. Thanks to you all! :) Mia.

It's lovely, Mia.

Beautifully done in your inimitable style. The simplicity of your paintings have such impact and they are the epitome of 'less is more'. Super work.

I like your way of painting and how to leave the white papere. Normally, we do overwork. Your white space speaks. Graet piece.

It's lovely Mia, and the sails are very effective.

Beautifully painted and drawn Mia. A step into the past...

Lovely composition, you have described the shape of the boat beautifully.

Thank you all very, very much. You have no idea how happy I am with all your lovely comments. :) Mia.

This is typically you Mia, and very beautiful.

Just delightful. A little gem.

Thanks Denise and Sylvia for your positive comments!

Just perfect Mia.

Simply beautiful.

A beautiful boat Mia, lovely sense of space.

This is stunning, Mia! So very beautifully composed, painted and tinted. Ink and wash at its best!

Thank you very much, Fiona, Val, Carole and Seok. I certainly didn't expect so many lovely comments.

beautiful as always.

Thanks Ellie, I appreciate!

Mia, I'm slowly catching up with my backlog. This is sooo nice, I love the boat and the colours are just right :)

Thank you very much, Sarah!

Before there was a harbour in Blankenberge (Belgium) where I live, fishermen's boats had a flat bottom (no keel) and had to be dragged on the beach. I used a waterproof marker and added a very limited background to accentuate the shape of the boat.
