Hang on Studio Wall

Yellow legged gull in charcoal on paper 12 x9 inches. I've not used charcoal for some time and felt I needed a change from oils. This gull was perched on my neighbours roof and noticed he had one withered foot and the other leg looked slightly arthritic, he was also ringed which suggested to me he had been rescued at some time, maybe caught up in some trash left on the beach. Hence the name Gammy,
