Wet Edinburgh Pavements

Comments

Very skilled use of watercolour. Love the wet ground and reflections.

Love the atmosphere and light on the pavement. Very beautifully painted Mark.

Love this.

Lovely wetness Mark in your inimitable style

You always create a feeling of movement with your figures Mark, they lead us into the scene here so well.

Spotted it immediately. Wonderfully atmospheric.

Oh this is fabulous!! Love the composition and the way the curve of the buildings draws you in. Can really feel what's it like to be walking along that pavement...very skilled!

This is fabulous, the light shining through the figures is brilliantly done, Mark.

Thank you everyone. I understand J K Rowling thought up Diagonal Alley after visiting Victoria Street. I didn’t buy a wand but did pick up some beautifully illustrated books.

The spontaneity and light work wonderfully. Love it.

Watercolour of Victoria Street in Edinburgh. The light was bouncing of the buildings reflecting on the wet pavements. The first time I have painted myself in a watercolour. Painted on a full sheet of Millford paper using Schmincke watercolours.
