That's very nicely done Marjorie. Lovely blending of the colours.

Washes are the foundation of good watercolour painting, we could all improve our work if we regularly practice them. This is a good example of the beauty they can create. Nice work Marjorie.

Lovely wet in wet. Great mellow atmosphere Diana

Serene and tranquil Marjorie. Don't give up on watercolours, this is lovely.

Very nice painting Marjorie. love the wet in wet effects

As you can see in my work Marjorie, i like watercolour and I think you can achieve really nice pieces with just washes and little else if they creat a mood, I think that is exactly what you have done here, for me it is a lovely little atmospheric little painting with great wet into wet effects, nice one.

Yes, tranquility was what sprung to mind. Lovely washes.

Thanks everyone, I really do think watercolour is a hard medium, small ones are all I'll ever manage.

Really nice watercolour Marjorie, great atmosphere and tranquillity about this piece has certainly been achieved, really like it .

Marjorie beautiful your art whichever you choose is really something.

You've done well, Marjorie. I like the gentle clear washes. There's a lot of immediacy to the piece.

I missed this.....gorgeous!

Hang on Studio Wall
