The play on light is brilliant again Marjorie, excellent piece.

They are looking well if they are the original ones Marjorie!lol Superb catch of light on the fruit and cloth and I love that hint of orange/yellow touch in the background and on the left hand fruit.

Lovely painting marjorie, an great lights.

Caught with crisp beauty Marjorie

Marjorie, love the colours you've used in this - and a great sense of light.

Beautiful Marjorie, love the cloth, the colours, wow amazing reds, Love it :)

Thanks Alan, I'm absolutely fascinated by the light at the moment. And Fiona, I actually threw them away only last week but I'd taken some photos....but I bet you knew that anyway. Thanks too Cesare and Dennis, Jenny and Maria!

Gorgeous light in these, again the cloth is spot on, lovely work again Marjorie.

Haven't seen or tasted one for ages, but you obvioulsy like them Marjorie. I like you renditions of them and the still life set up you achieve.

Hey Marjorie you know your onions ha ha , its lovely piece of work Marjorie they look real and a great atmosphere too. Ten out of ten .

Ooh you are awful Dennis but I forgive you cos you gave me ten out of ten.

Thankyou Andre, Elizabeth and Derek - l never did get to taste them but I think the colour of them is beautiful.

... and you have achieved wonderful light effects. The colours you have used are beautiful.

The colours & textures takes my breath away Marjorie - you have created clever effects with those dashes of yellow & reds

Fascinating fruits Marjorie isn't it the fruit of love? I love their ruby juicy seeds too. Lots of embroideries were done with pomegranates through the ages. Anyway love your painting the colours are terrific!

Thankyou Gudrun and Lynne and Carole for that information - I can well understand the sensuous link.

Missed this one Marjorie , it's a beautiful light filled piece , what a stunner

Prepared cad red background ( acrylic) because there were many red reflections in the cloth from the pomegranates. Alternated with palette knife and brush. There is still more to do on the background because I painted out a horizontal , but not completely. What is it with me and pomegranates?
