Masquerade in Red, is a reflection of contemporary society and culture. I am interested in exploring the human emotions of fear and anxiety that is prevalent in society today. I was Inspired by the mental health of young adults, people hide behind an identity or a mask to avoid been seen and judged. My intentions were to use the mask as a metaphor, we are trying to protect our vulnerable inner true self. However, being our true selves is the best and most perfect thing we could ever be.
