Ha ha.....this is great Malcolm! Lovely old tree and I like the scatter of rubble and rocks from the byre. Nature doesn’t take long to reclaim all we leave behind.

It does raise a smile, Malcolm. We are just specks in this universe.

Thank you so much Fiona, Marjorie,Carole and Carole for those really nice comments and yes Marjorie specks of dust exactly, I did a big painting of my time in the Karakoram mountains called 'Specks of Dust' showing how insignificant humans are amongst the vastness of the mountains and glaciers, thank you all again.

This drawing is of one of the many deserted dwellings I have come across during my years on the hills, this always struck me in that people had gone but nature had taken up residence.
