Well this is gawjus. I love the colours and texture. Great sense of distance. My eye saunters casually along the path toward the tree in the background. The flowers in the foreground are a joy.

Superb painting Liezel. The mark making along your hedge is wonderful as are the flowers etc in the foreground. I love it!

I first painted this scene last year when I got back into painting after some time. I set out to improve and learn as much as I could and made an effort to make more time to paint. Continuing with my fences and fields theme, I gave this view a go again. Comparing the two versions shows me to keep going and to continue to explore and develop. Some mixed media here with a prepared gesso surface with watercolour and ink.
