There are times when I wonder what goes on in your mind, Lew ....... what influences were brought to bear on you in your youth: I suspect a dalliance with the Beano, Topper, and Dandy; but your drawings are better than appeared in those publications; the figure of the sinister Fool, with bells, shows an historical knowledge - almost of Victorian gothic........ I'm over analysing this, aren't I....?

Thanks to all for your great feedback. Most welcome. Robert, you are correct about the Beano and Dandy...also the Eagle. I'm always been interested in folklore, gothic, history...certainly the illustration of these themes. I don't think you can avoid some of it sticking. I hope not.
