That's well Dunne Lew! (if you see the joke?) Not somebody to meet on a dark night though. Nice work.

Definitely think you should be illustrating books Lewis! Great details.

Thanks Jim and Margaret for your kind comments...not quite there with inktense, but enjoying finding out.

Cheap at twice the price. It's almost impossible to resist messing about with new kit, isn't it? Excellent work, Lew, as usual, and always with a wry touch of humour. Bri

Experiment away. It's great and you can never have too much colour ....

Very vibrant colours Lewis. This really stands out. He looks a bit evil though.

This is just an excuse for your terrible jokes Lew. Your enjoyment comes through with all this lovely colour. I've got a dozen or so Inktense, you have to choose your subject matter don't you . They don't work with everything.

Well done another fantastic drawing

Another great character with your usual added sentiment.

Thanks again to everybody for your wonderful feedback. Inktense is certainly vivid, but I have to admit I like bright colour anyway...I don't see the point in having these glorious colours and not using them. It's not as if my pictures reflect real life.

Must dig out my inktense pencils. You have inspired me Lew. What have you used for the white whiskers...?

Thanks Sylvia. Gouache for the whiskers, which I decided to add later.

The colours are brilliant, you look like you have got the knack of blending inktense really well 😀

I think you should be illustrating book too, Lewis - I think you could probably write them as well!

Your experiment with Inktense is super Lewis. Such intense colours which works so well with your style of work. I love this one, his hat is amazing.

Love the vibrant colours in this, Lewis - another great character. (I've got some Inktense pencils but have never been able to get on with them - this has encouraged me to have another go!)

Thanks again for your comments. The colors are brilliant, which suits the way I like to work. Maureen...Illustrating books would have been a lifetime ambition, I'm a bit long in the tooth now. I'm happy drawing something as often as I can.

Love your use of colour!

That's what my dad always says! Very good

Another bash with Inktense on better paper...just trying things out, hence the mass of colours (although I don't need an excuse for lots of colour.) Probably too much experimenting for such a little picture. I'm liking Inktense and will play some more...maybe put something in the forum, where I can pick other people's brains.
