Various doodles-2020-small

Great imagination and characters. Your noses are supreme Lewis.

The artwork of the judge is a superb piece of drawing.

'The Judge' is a pretty fearsome looking character Lewis, brilliantly drawn as always - [as are the others] - he must surely feature more often in your fertile imagination, far too interesting to be a 'one off.'

I really like learning your process and how things develop .... wouldn't want to be brought 'before' that judge!

Thank you Carole, Stephen, Russell, and Heather. Your comments are much appreciated. Yes Russell, now I've thought the judge up, he may well appear again.

Wonderful characters

Wouldn't like to "face" that Judge !!

I think the judge has just said, “orrff with his head”, he’s fearsome. Great drawing as always Lewis.

Excellent artwork Lew. I think a lot of people at the moment start a project and for some leave it or change it, like you I’ve done it for the past few weeks.

Thanks again to all for your welcome comments. Yes Dixie, I think that's true...I've always done it to a degree, but just lately I seem to be making a habit of it.

You are a superb artist, Lewis, with every piece a winner!

The best spook I have seen for a long time Lewis.

Thank you Jennifer and John.

Hang on Studio Wall

Didn't start as random, I drew the two figures on the left as part of a large cartoon...then went off the idea. (That's happening quite a lot lately.) To fill the page I drew a judge (haven't drawn one before), and then something to go in the middle. Various media. Pen, coloured pencils, ordinary pencil, and watercolour.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
