Interesting concept with all these interesting characters. Excellent design.

Certainly bring back some fond memories, down t the local flee pit. The hero’s seemed much braver and honest in the old films, and no blood. Excellent work loo, I know what you mean by things in your head , but this has worked out well.

This brought back memories of Saturday afternoons spent at the local cinema, shouting and booing at the baddies and clapping for the goodies. We’ve come a long way since those days Lewis. Thank you for the nostalgic trip down memory lane, seeing all those familiar, beautifully painted characters.

Great cartoon and lovely memories Lew. Saturday morning matinee at the Savoy, orange peel and booing for any delay and you could always tell what had been shown as we kids would come out sword fighting for Zorro, bow and arrows for Robin Hood and coat loose around the shoulders and held with the lapels in the mouth for Superman/batman's cloak. The weekly serial would always end on a cliff hanger where such as Batman would say go over the cliff with the runaway train. However next week would he would manage to jump free, disappointingly just before it went over. Great days!

Oh how I loved Saturday morning pictures - I went to the ABC (versus the Odeon). Happy days indeed and this illustrations has brought it all back. To sit there with a Lyons Maid ice cream block between 2 wafers, bliss!

Thanks very much for your wonderful comments, I'm glad it's provoked a few good memories. It's one of the most vivid memories of my childhood. An hour or two in wonderland for us kids.

Thanks for the memory's Lewis. Saturday mornings in the Trocadero at The Elephant and Castle. One morning me and my younger brother came out and got mugged and robbed by a gang of kids. Choked they stole my Eagle badge!!

I immediately thought of Saturday morning cartoons and cinema. It really good.

Definitely Saturday Mornings ! Is that Hopalong Cassidy ! (Think that was his name) Very good as always.

Thank you Fred, Gudrun and Richard. Yes Richard, it is supposed to be Hopalong Cassidy...not a favorite of mine, he always so too poshly dressed, but he was on all the time.

A pic I did a few weeks ago, and wasn't happy with. Another idea that was better in my head...I get a lot of those. I'm not sure about the way I've presented the idea, it might have been better to show the inside of a cinema. But as bits of it are ok, and it's a memory of happier times, I thought I'd post it.
