Medusa - A3 sketchbook - Pen & Ink.

Superb detail, must have taken an age to complete this impressive piece of artwork.

Yes, impressive indeed Lew, a lot of intricate detail in that border.

Love a good Medusa

Lovely detail, Lewis, I especially like the borders - and the ‘hair snakes’ do look menacing!

Thank you Stephen, Alan, Heather and Jenny. Doing the border was fun, almost therapeutic. The dotted areas less so, but it's a technique I love to see in other's work, so I had to get on with it.

Brilliant pen work Lew, the details are excellent.

"Therapeutic" I can understand, Lewis, and absorbing. Is it too late to start a brilliant career?

Amazing detail and originality Lewis. Love that scary stare.

Brilliant Lewis, the most gripping of Greek myths when I was a child and Carravagio's Medusa was a painting that always gave me the creeps! This does too!

Brilliant drawing Lew, love all the intricate details and the pointillism really works well 👍😁

Thank you Marjorie, Carole, Russell and Linda for your kind comments.

Not quite sure who looks the most menacing, herself or her snakes. I like how you have included the snake motif and design in to her basque. Brilliant.

Fabulous drawing here Lewis!!

different enough to be "different" but caught the eye immediately as being an LC piece of art. Eye catcher

The snake-haired mythical goddess who could turn men to stone with a stare.
