Some fantastic doodles here Lewis, I particularly like the Sheriff he looks a real character

I agree about the sheriff, he looks marvellous.

Yes the sheriff looks awesome. 👌 fab doodles. So detailed. The lady putting back on dog lead reminds me of mini minx.

Thank you Neil, Stephen and Faye. I don't know who mini minx is Faye.

Fab doodles and wonderful characters asnd expressions

Great doodles, Lewis, amazing characters and lots of detail to look at.

A superb way to pass time Lew and all are excellent.

Minnie the Minx was a character in either the Beano or Dandy - don’t remember which. Of the same era as Dennis the Menace, and Desperate Dan. Wonderful characters Lewis. I particularly like the beaky, crow fish.

Great characters Lewis, the sheriff, looks like a rooten tooten mean dude and I like the astronaut.

One man's doodles is another man's inspiration. One could almost imagine a tall tale involving all of the characters on this page.

Lovely stuff Lew. The surprised bird and the girl with the mastiff are ace. You've even got a Jane Austen lady in there. Keep it up. (-:

Each one of these sketches has something to see and chuckle over. Every time you look you see some extra detail that makes them so interesting. I like the mean looking sheriff and the girl with the dog.

Such a wild variety of characters Lewis. Particularly like the one in spotty pants.

A joy to look at Lewis, every one of 'em!

Doodle on doodle on.

Some great looking characters here Lewis.

Just fabulous work Lewis

Don't often get B&W from you Lewis but this is just as good, and yes the Wild Bill character is great.

Thanks very much to everybody for your great response.

Wsh I could doodle as well as you, Lewis!

Love the dog walkers Lewis! Since lockdown there seems to be a huge increase in doggy folk around here, with dachshunds top of the list. There’s a thought for you!

I like to draw something everyday. Sometimes I can't work on a bigger picture, or don't want to, or I'm stuck. So I do something even if it takes just a minute or two. These pages were done over a month or so, the quality varies depending on how hurried they were. Sometimes they give me ideas, the man peering through a 'crows' legs prompted a picture I posted recently about 'doing time.' So, these doodles keep me going, keep me doing 'something'.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
