They all look very good to me Lewis

Interesting characters especially the one on the left.

Interesting characters Lewis. Love the little creature bottom right and it’s expression!

I was reading about this on the forum Lewis, the characters are excellent and I love the peculiar looking cat like creatures.

They are all excellent Lew , I do prefer the one drawn with the dip pen , it’s the darker edge etc that gives them a bit more definition. It doesn’t matter what you sketch with it will always be of a high standard. It’s never to late to establish what works for you , I think most of use spend a lot of time searching, sometimes without known .

Whatever you use works for me Lewis & the rest of your fans on P-oL I've no doubt. I just look forward to the next instalment.

Another good one Lewis. Your characters are so good and well drawn!

Thanks to everybody for your generous comments. The main thing I noticed on returning to a dip pen was the striking darkness of the lines compared to a disposable pen, I expect I shall continue to use both. (I wrote about this on the forum).

Great characters, Lewis - I especially like the little dragon like creature bottom right which appears to be emerging out of the ground.

I deleted my previous comment Lew because it had some stupid predictive text. What I meant to say was.......It's never too late, especially when you are bringing pleasure to other people.

Ha Brill. Love the expressions. Fabulous work 👏

I rather like the bowling ladies. They remind me of people in my club....!

Such diverse characters and animals. Your imagination must give you nightmares Lewis. Brilliant work.

I’ve seen a couple of these characters on our bowls green Lewis, especially the one on the right. Fabulous!

Great Ladies Bowling Club !! Don't know what creatures these are but they have super expressions ! 😀

Never too late to try something new Lewis. I agree dip pens are better, but there is always a risk of an unexpected drip in the wrong place. I love these characters.

Never too late Lew. Fab drawings as always.

Recently returned to using a dip pen. Liking it. Save for the woman tossing a bowling ball, all drawings are with a dip pen. I've tried colour washes with watercolour and soluble coloured pencil. Trying to establish what works best for me. (I've left it a bit late.)
