Quasimodo trio

Always felt sorry for poor Quasimodo - 3 great characters

Love the amount of detail you put into your drawings Lewis to such great effect.

These characters really tell a story.

Great characters Lewis, I always enjoyed the film, heart wrencher.

The bells, the bells, Lewis. Where's the bells? In other words, great stuff.

What a film that was and you have captured the personalities spot on Lewis. Brilliant.

I don't know how many times it's been said before Lewis, and without fear of repeating myself, your wonderful drawings should be in a book. Having taught in primary school for more years than I care to remember I know that children, even with all of the digital technology available to them, would love to see their favourite literary characters portrayed so skilfully and thoughtfully.

Not to get out of commenting Lewis, but I agree entirely with Russell’s remark, you have a great talent.

Thank you very much for your comments. I appreciate your remarks Russell (and Fiona), it's something I wished I'd tried to do years ago. Right now, I'm too old and lazy to attempt it.

A terrific trio Lewis, especially like your work on Quasimodo’s hands.

Super stuff Lew. Great character depiction.

Great faces - so talented, Lewis

Always look for my daily chuckle - never disappointed,

The Hunchback of Notre Dame trio. I've made Quasimodo less gruesome. Apparently his name literally means 'half-made.' Mixed media, mostly coloured pencil.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
