Mucha is one of the artists I most admire, Lewis and you certainly captured his style beautifully. A few years ago there was an exhibition of his works in Liege (the other side of Belgium) and we went 3 hours by train to go and see it. It was fantastic!

Thanks very much to all for your generous comments. This is my third stab at Mucha's style this year, and I like this one best (at the moment). It's my intention to try a few more things this year...so far an attempt at surreal and now these Muchas. I wonder how long this 'non-resolution' will last.

Another go at Alphonse Mucha's style. Like most of the artists I admire, whose work seems relatively simple, I quickly find they aren't. But I enjoy trying.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
