A wonderful illustration Lew, and very clever and inventive.

I read your posting on the Forum the other day Lewis and it seemed you were a little perplexed about the reason why a lot of people commented on your paintings and particularly the ones that were perhaps not your favourites. My reason is that they are eye-catching, thought provoking, nostalgic, in some cases and entertaining. All art is subjective and yours just seems to hit the "feel good" factor for me. Coupled with the fact that you are a darn good artist!!☺

What a brilliant interpretation of a day dream. I think it's super😀

Very nice drawing! Evocative and clever!

An attempt to portray somebody day-dreaming. An older woman dreams of her younger selves, and other things in her life. I wasn't sure how to do it, but wanted to avoid the usual 'bubble' above the thinker's head. Composition is a bit jumbled, but then so are thoughts (that's my excuse, anyway). Great fun drawing it. Pen and Ink with watercolour. 16 x 12 ins.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
