Always love your sketch book figures Lewis, they provide the inspiration to keep practicing my own.

Lovely sketches Lewis, in particular the old man with the tree 😃

One on the right is full of story material Lew. Sets the mind in action right away.

Like them both very much Lewis.

More superb drawings, Lew. The one on the right looks like a story waiting to be told. It has a mysterious, magical quality. I think the captain has just lost his ship. *smile* Bri

Both excellent drawings Lewis, I think the captain's ship has left without him!

I think there's a definite story hatching here, Lewis! Brilliant drawing as always!

Poor old captain looks sorry for himself. Great drawings!

Thanks very much for looking and your comments.

Hang on Studio Wall

A couple of sketches. The one on the right started as an imagined tree, then I added the figure. On the left is an idea for a character for a fantasy pic. Pencil. A4 sketchbook.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
