This looks fine to me! Think it works well with the black. And yup I've got quite a few unfinished paintings - and torn up loads too!

Looks fine to me, Lewis, especially the dramatic dark background. I'm sure it's worth holding onto...I couldn't even begin anything as complicated as armour!

I think the black background really allows the colourful characters to stand out from the page Lewis. This is great.

Thanks for your comments. This was going OK but then I ran out of interest when I messed up the background, and was feeling lukewarm about the armour...so I decided enough was enough. It happens...move on to the next one.

An attempt to do something other than just sketch. This wasn't working out, so I stopped. I painted out the unfinished background with black acrylic...I've cropped the original size to about half.
