Love the circus geezer and Myrtle especially Lewis! Hope you weren’t offended by comments on digital stuff the other day as your compilation seems to have disappeared? My point and ? Linda was aimed at some who concoct a picture purely by computer, which yours certainly wasn’t.

Thanks to all for looking and your comments. No Tessa, I haven't removed my digital pic...I assume you mean when somebody alters a photo with digital tools and passes it off as a painting. (You can make a photo look almost like an oil by pressing a few buttons.) I'm against that, but otherwise there's an awful lot of digital art that I think is marvelous.

Well, I've finally got round to starting a painting as opposed to just sketching...if it works out I'll post it. Here's some pages from an A4 sketchbook. The circus act and the old time copper are draw with a brush and black watercolour, the bedbug (winner of Miss Bedbug of the year - in case you can't read it) is done in pen and ink, the other pic is watercolour pencil. A load of nonsense I wasn't going to post, but I like seeing other peoples sketches....so, here they are.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
