Haha. Brilliant, Lewis. The look on the guys face says it all.

Poor man he'd better shift quick! 😂

OOOOPs!!! Wonderful...i remember those pcs!! This is fantastic artistry again Lewis

Fabulous Lewis. She ate too much cake.

Brill, hope the poor chap in the sea got away in time, I think I would have named it " The Big Splash" 😂😂😂

What a hoot, Lewis. I thought of those postcards immediately and think this is a wonderfully humorous homage. The guy's face is everything. *smile* Brian

Fantastic Lew. All the souvenier stalls at holiday resorts used to be full of them. Nobody got outraged, just had a good laugh and passed on.

Thanks for the Sunday morning smile Lewis :) I like the look of joy and fun on her face.

If she jumps in the sea may jump out... good work Lew.

Ha ha good to see some humour

one of the better things about visiting the briny was reading those cards , this does bring back memories - pleasant ones !

Those were the days when we didn't have to be politically correct all the time, and I am sure no one took offence. I just hope the bloke in the picture didn't suffer too much.

Increase in drownings reported ..... or Look Out Below. Well, she looks happy, anyway.

How funny Lewis, as everyone has said it's so like the old postcards we used to laugh at before political correctness spoilt everything. Your skill knows no bounds!

Glad I am not him! Great to see all these depictions of old time postcards which are sadly missed.

I used to collect this type of postcard and had them on my wall at uni. The cleaners would gather to have a laugh at them. Good fun and no harm. This pic gave me a real belly laugh. Thank you.

Another pic from my shed...in homage to those brilliant, none PC, postcards we used to buy. Oddly enough it's acrylic on board...very good for flat simple colours like this, but then they are easy to do in watercolour. About 3 years old on a 20 x 16 board.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
