Another beauty, Lewis. Sounds a bit painful. Hope your spanulated spandrel get better soon.😒

Great sketch, as a confirmed landlubber the rigging looks fine to me!

Seth has summed it up beautifully. Another very good painting.

Forget the rigging, enjoy the view from the great days of sail Lew. (-: The lad on the left would probably be about twelve, a regular age for starting out. I can smell the ozone. Nice work.

What a cracker, Lewis and right up my float...if you'll pardon me flibberty jibbets. So well drawn, especially the water.

Lovely illustrative style and a very jolly painting. Made me smile.

This is super Lewis. Fantastic sense of depth you have got into this piece. I too have found it difficult to do any uploading with many things to attend to.

Shop ahoy! Like the figures and especially the way the guy on the right leans into the picture.

That's really good Lewis!

As usual Lewis, it is excellent !

Obviously I meant ship ahoy! D’oh!

A great composition Lewis, love the chap on the right hanging onto rigging I presume !!!

why worry about the rigging - the sail is still hanging up there , that'll do me - as does the sketch itself.

Good Fun!

Another oldie, I haven't had much time for making pics these last few weeks, to many jobs outside. Just a made up pic. Any nautical types looking at this will know my rigging is purely decorative, and not fit for the purpose. (I'm pretty sure I've got my flibberty-jibbets tangled up with my spatulated spandrels for a start...landlubbers should excuse the tech talk.) 8 x 10. Watercolour and pen.
