Very funny.

I was going to say I hope that nobody really exists with a nose like that... I love the spiders web on the guy since he has been there so long.

Great stuff Lewis. Just got back from the same. Must be my age, but I can't understand the teenage/twenty trend of having half their hair blocking their vision? Do they think they look alluring...or just plain gormless? ..(-:

They’re great, Lewis. I had an appointment at the hospital a few weeks ago......I wish I’d taken my sketchbook, they were running 40 minutes late!

Great sketching Lewis.

These are so very funny, love them Lewis...never waste a moment, eh!! They don't come round again those moments!

You do see some strange people in waiting rooms Lewis but I've never seen anyone with such a 'swollen' nose ha ha! Brilliant work as always. Hope your wife is OK.

I spend so long in hospitals at the moment plus I always have a sketch book . These are not the usual inhabitants Lew. But a great way to pass time .

Good use of the time. Love the little spider!

Great thoughts. The other day at the surgery I wished I'd had a tape recorder for all the sighs and mumblings. Reminded me of a track on Simon and Garfunkel's "Bookends" album with the background voicestalking about their health problems.

Thanks for all your comments. I rarely sketch outdoors, and these hardly represent that activity...I was just doodling to pass the time. I wouldn't sketch actual patients waiting for treatment...that doesn't feel right with me...but I shall certainly do more doodling like this should the occasion arise. I've had three sessions like this so far...this group is from one session. I may post the others sometime.

Brilliant Lewis!

A good way to pass long waiting times. Seeing your fun characters always lifts my mood.

Had to take my wife for an MRI scan yesterday...they were running late. Luckily, I took my little sketchbook and pencil to pass some of the time. These are cartoonish doodles...I don't feel right about drawing patients ...so obviously these are made up. I gave up after three drawings...they did use up about 45 minutes...every little helps.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
