Wonderful. I think this is my favourite so far in this series.

Love these Lewis. He's not as scary as some others?

This is my favourite Lewis it captures Scrooge perfectly

Like you say, a "must have" Lewis. Good as ever.

Very good, though your idea about him holding a candle is sense, it's the image we all think of when someone says Scrooge. I'd make him look miserable too since that's also what he is known for but if he's meeting a ghost surprised seems a fairly natural emotion too.

Scrooge looks spooked!

The Christmas Carole was the first book I read in English. This was when I was 15. The characters has stayed in my mind ever since. I think the candle is a great idea. his candle lit face making it all more spooky.

Looks like fright night lol 😀

Scrooge to a T.

These are just brilliant. The display of these will certainly be a talking piece!

I'm waiting expectantly for the candle Scrooge. Great idea and so in keping with the image. ....

This is so Scrooge Lewis!

Great Scrooge, Lewis. The candle idea would be the icing on the cake. Brian

I like it a lot Lewis, one of my favorite characters, I think the old fashion candle would be a interesting feature. brilliant.

thanks for Scrooge , Lewis, Christmas Carol , a book first received at the age of ten and re-read so many times as an adult preceding the event- the spirit of Christmas. Still have that original book , battered and bruised but still loved.

The is another 'must-have' Dickens character. I've tried to depict him when he meets the 'Ghost of Christmas yet to come.' It's OK, but I think it needs something...I'll do it again in Landscape format and have him holding a candle. An advantage in doing this small scale stuff is that it's no big deal to have another go.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
