Spot on as to how I would imagine her Lewis.

Brilliant Lew .

Superb Lewis.

It's brilliant Lewis she looks sooo sad!

You have achieved that skeletal look Lewis. I dread to think this is what I'll look like at some point in life haha!

I always see her as Bonham-Carter so yours isn't nearly as feminine or quite as manic, I absolutely love how you have done the veil, hair and the background though.

Lol Lewis, the exstream end. Super detail.

Cadaverous she sure is Lewis- excellent!

Wow, definitely cadaverous Lewis, such a talent.

Gosh she looks like she's just been dug up, lol

Poor Miss Haversham....she could do with a little rouge.

Thanks for your comments, from what I can remember from the film versions she is sometimes portrayed as old, and sometimes young and glamorous. I wasn't sure about this, but I think I'll keep it. I must do an attractive female...maybe Little Nell.

I so agree with everyone, especially Linda. I'm sure I can smell the earth around her!!! Brilliant Lewis again

She looks so sad, brilliantly portrayed.

Looks like she could do with a bit of love and a good meal. I feel quite sorry for her !! Another brilliant addition to this series fo paintings.

Great are all good, but this one is brilliant !

Ha! Brilliant! She looks like old man Steptoe in drag. (compliment btw) Brian

Well she looks it Lewis. What a face!

Decided to make her look cadaverous. Originally had flames behind her at the bottom of the picture, but I've used red very sparingly thus far and it threw the balance out...so I painted it out. Not sure about this, there's always a different way to do it, I'll wait a bit. Sometimes I like things more after a little time has elapsed.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
