Super Sid! Another belter. Don’t know where your ideas come from but keep em coming! Very original.

I have rested saying this Lewis but you should have really made your living doing these, or at least part of it. But as it is said its never to late. However you have said NO, not now.

What a guy. great picture. You should compile a book of your work.

Your work brightens the dullest of days Lewis!

You brighten my day as well. (A good thing as it's raining yet again). This one is brilliant Lewis. The expressions on their faces speak volumes. I agree with John and David these should be published. :)

Two beauties Lewis top drawer

Brilliant 😃

That's Michael McManus in disguise. Thanks for the smile on a wet morning Lewis. (-:

Wow Sid gets about Lewis. This is wonderful, I love seeing your marvellous work as it makes me smile.😀

Looks like Sid has kept them happy for the past 10 years anyway.

Absolutely fabulous! Love it!! Wot a larf! It's brightened my day too...even raining here on Gozo this morning! A huge THANK YOU Lewis!

More fabulous characters, Lewis!

Those expressions.....brilliant Lewis! And Sid, well, he’s a proper charmer.

I agree totally with John, you really should be making a living from your work, all brilliant!

This is just stunning Lewis.

Thank you everybody for your very kind comments about my little picture. As for making a living from this, that's something I should have tried much earlier. I'm 78 now, and don't want all the hassle associated with trying to sell my stuff. I'm more than content to draw and paint, I'm thankful that I can still do it.

You really should try to get these in a book! They are truly wonderful drawings and so funny. Just the thing to cheer us up during the great British Winter!

I've done a few pics about a character called Sid. This is where he came from. It's about 10 years old, and was painted with a cheap set of Reeves paints (before I upgraded). Every now and then I like to revisit old Sid. 16 x 12 inches. Pen. Watercolour.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
