Hang on Studio Wall

My sketchbook. The pic on the left (should be viewed landscape) was done at my art group, the subject that week was 'autumn'. I'd forgotten and had not brought any ref material, so I draw this. Pen and watercolour. A4 sketchbook. The pic on the right was an experiment. I drew a fully modeled sketch in pencil, intending just to lay thin washes of watercolour over the pencil. It almost worked, but I had to do more watercolour than I'd hoped.
