Wonderful piece of artwork & imagination.

Such imagination Lewis and such brilliant Characters. I'm off fishing today with another smile on my face. Thank you.

So detailed and brilliant. Very clever. I love all the pieces around him. Lots to look at. Great pencil colour work 👌

Tremendous drawing Lew, great idea!

He’s really in the groove isn’t he, look at that face! We have a ‘men in sheds’ thing here in Bourton which is very popular and I’m sure very helpful for those involved. Haven’t heard about a female version! I love the little details in this Lew, the tea and biccies on the table, his catalogue and receipt. Another good one.

Love the Ramsbottom touch .

Excellent, both artwork and humour , superb character you are do talented Lew.

I’ve often wondered what men get up to in their sheds -or, in my husband’s case, a dilapitated greenhouse on the allotment mended with various old windows and doors ( catflap included). Great humour Lew, and, as Tessa says, that wonderful attention to detail.

I'm thinking, he's thinking, he's playing out a scene from the O.K. Corral. Super Lewis. Love it.

Good fun & great artwork as usual. Ramsbottom indeed.

Another cracker Lewis that catches that facial expression to a T

Sadly, nobody plays "Cowboys and Indians" these days. Lew. The toy "Six guns" of our childhood would get us arrested today. Great memory work as ever.

'Appen that's not a bad picture of Old Bert. Must have taken a lot of effort with the background details, but worth it.

Love the moves and the art!

Another wonderful piece Lewis

What a fantastic character Lewis! Your drawing skills are outstanding as is your imagination. The details are wonderful - the belt, bullets and holster, the sheriff's star, and the 'weight' of his six shooter, all gloriously captured. And of course Albert, in perfect pose, eyeballing his next victim as he's about to draw his gun - just brilliant!

Another beauty Lewis.

Almost criminally our local 'men in sheds' has had to close because the LA won't fund it any more. that's the rant, love the picture.

Hilarious! Great drawing too!

Love all the details in this Lewis, so well thought out and drawn. Superb pencil work. And I know Ramsbottom well- is that where he’s from?

You are so creative! I think I read this book - By Willie Makeit & Betty Dont, right?!

Thank you all very much for your wonderfully encouraging remarks. They are much appreciated. That's a brilliant book title Skylar...had me laughing out loud.

Don't know where you dream these characters and anecdotes from Lewis. Always excellent, you never fail.

Great ideas and art as always.

I’ll add another brilliant Lewis!

Been reading about this 'Men in Sheds' thing...sounds a good idea. A possible theme for me to work on, although I doubt that my men-in-sheds will be making shelves. (Apparently 'women-in-sheds' is almost as popular...so bags of scope.) I'm not knocking re-enactors here, must be fascinating. Mixed media, but mostly coloured pencil.

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
