One day...

Coming to your door
Comments

You are so right Lewis - looking at family through the window does seem a very strange thing - OK so I am allowed to open the door provided they stay 2 metres away. Visiting the hospital is even stranger !!! Stay well

I can’t wait for the day I can give my young granddaughters a cuddle again, it’s the simple thing we miss. Great drawing and colours Lew, keep safe and well.

Strange old world we are living in but a little humour always helps. Keep the excellent drawing coming.

Thank goodness we on POL know how too use our mobiles and laptops even though lots of us are over 70, at least we can stay in touch via video links and such but I still can't wait to see family and friends, its a new way of life but if we all rally together we will get through it, stay safe Lew and keep the fun cartoons coming!!!

Great bunch of characters

Families come in such an odd assortment but as you say they are sorely missed during such times as these. Love the face of the stroppy girl in the front and the mangy dog but all the characters are superb. So appreciate your talent for cheering us all up Lewis.

Thanks to all for your comments. I've seen my son a couple of times when he's brought stuff for us. He puts it on the step, rings the bell and then backs up the garden path. We chat. All very strange...but all things pass.

Well done Lewis, you really do cheer everyone up, thanks a lot!

We need the humour - keep 'em coming Lewis.

Aha the tuba player and family! Super cheery lot, and I also like the grouchy little person in blue. Oh and granny, is that a moustache appearing!?

You never disappoint Lewis !

Great ideas - enjoy your work.

I always love seeing your work here Lewis. Your figures are so well drawn. So many different characters and I love the grumpy little lad at the front here!

Roll on that day Lewis! Great reminder of what to look forward to.

Thank you very much to everyone who's taken the time to comment. Much appreciated.

...we'll be able to have friends and family visit, won't that be great! Who'd have thought that such simple things would be denied us. On the quirky side I've included some you normally might have doubts about...like a tuba playing eccentric uncle. Roll on the day. A4 sketchbook. Pen, watercolor pencils, watercolor.
