It’s a good one though Lew, I’ll have to think of something appropriate!

Excellent Lew, love your sense of humour, it’s that that will get us through things.

Ha,ha...Imagine six months down the line Lew...Great stuff.

Lol......he looks the picture of bliss and happiness Lew. Excellent example for us all.

Know the feeling. Great drawing.

Tee hee ..... happily, and I can't really explain this, I don't get on mine: I'm quite happy with my own company; my problem - which certainly is NOT Lew's - is procrastination; and having a slight cold (yes, just a cold!) and a profound sense of relief from the work I have been more or less ceaselessly involved with since late last year - I've sort of flopped and done little. Except read - and watch this website, and all the new paintings on it. Which is good for me - so: inspired by Alan Bickley's oils, and Lew's endless inventiveness and work; encouraged by the new book I've just bought from the USA .... it's only my own indolence that can stop me. I shall model myself on them!

Yup...I know the feeling, Lewis! Good one!!!

Thanks to all for the great feedback. Yes Jim...'imagine six months down the line'...let's not dwell on that. This pic is just using a old drawing, but I'll be doing new stuff.

It is just the right thing. Great humour. This kind of thing will keep us going. Love your work.

Quality. Your face says it all

Taking another dose of LC to get a smile on the face. Am like Robert - can and do bear my own company without a problem - wife died 14 years ago , took full retirement at end of 2018 - 18 years over run but at 3 days p.w. And yes . I drifted in that first year - but am back in the groove now. My painting is the major interest and filler of spare time hence the enjoyment of seeing the works shown here.

Good one Lewis!

Good one Lewis! (I expect quite a few people will be relating to that before long - although maybe not so much us painters who are used to a solitary activity.)

Thanks again for your wonderful comments. Got to admit, I relate to Robert and Mike's comments. I'm quite happy with my own company, having an interest in drawing helps that. Over recent years it's only my wife that's stopped me becoming a complete hermit.

So true Lewis. Very accurately topical and amusing with your usual wonderful skill.

Lewis you're a tonic for us all at this uncertain time, keep them coming please.

Love it! Keep it up! x

Great one Lewis ! And humour always.

I think you are going to be our saviour Lew.....keep us smiling, no pressure!

You guarantee a smile Lew even in these strange times! Well done.

Caught me to a tee Lewis lol.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
