This is great - I used to work in the fashion industry and these characters are spot on!

And done beautifully Lew, excellent work. Hope you you get out of the dumps soon mate.

Thanks, Lewis...cheered me up no end!!! Wonderful characterisation! Such imagination you have!

So much to feast the eyes Lewis. Your attention to detail is remarkable and love all the humour you infuse within your art.

What a feast of characters especially the lady in the green stripes.

Absolutely Fabulous. This really brightened my day Lewis.

Thanks so much to everybody for your kind remarks.

Wonderful set of characters Lew, don't know who I like best!!

Excellent, from someone who is fed up :). There must be a lot of characters stashed in your head just waiting for the right theme to come along (panic buying, hoarding, etc.) I know how you feel - I've been packing all my stuff for our big move back to Oz and I'm frankly too bored with it all to even pick up a pencil.

Thank you Linda and Ron. Yes Ron, I guess my mind's on other things, like yours with your move to Australia.

Even more super characters than usual in this brilliant "posting".

What a line up of great characters, brilliant!

Thank you Richard and Fred.

just as nice to get up to Lewis. Different but still another LC - what do you eat in order to stimulate that fertile imagination.? How do you manage to come up with all the "right faces" ? Like it and still smiling. (commiserations to Ron ,NZ might be browned off in the North , Flooded in the South , but not part burnt away as is Aussie )

I missed this yesterday, but it gave me a smile and a chuckle this morning Lew! A great selection of characters , I especially like the lady in the green stripes!

Getting fed-up with myself lately, keep starting things and abandoning them. To get out of the rut I thought I'd do something full of cartoon faces, and just keep going until it was done. Pen, watercolor, colored ink, gouache.

About the Artist
Lewis Cooper

Self taught. Love drawing. Like to make pictures up, without using reference pics, often in cartoon style. I do other pictures where I do use reference. I'm knocking on a bit, born in 1940 in Greenwich, London. Retired, and loving it.
